Young filmmaker Tamara Kotevska was born in 1993 North Macedonia, Pirlepe. Her 2019 documentary film, Honeyland -which she co-directed with Ljubo Stefanov- has received over 40 nominations and awards from all over the world. Its nominations include Best Documentary Feature Film and Best International Feature Film Oscar nominations and awards include The World Cinema Grand Jury Prize: Documentary, Cinema Documentary Special Jury Award for Cinematography and Cinema Documentary Special Jury Award for Impact for Change in Sundance Film Festival in which it Premiered at. Her previous environmental documentary film Lake of Apples (2017), supported by UNDP, also received many awards such as the Best Environmental film in International Natur Namur, Best Environment Documentary in Silafest, Serbia and Best Environment Documentary in Green Montenegro International Film Festival. Kotevska, who aims to create unforgettable stories, strong characters and perception-changing messages explores the conflict between the traditional and the progressive World in her new feature fiction film “MAN v.s. FLOCK.
